EDUCATIONAL SERVICES FOR STUDENTS

Academic support is available for students needing help with specific school subjects, such as written expression, handwriting, comprehension, study skills and organization, and math (dyscalculia).

WRITTEN EXPRESSION

Learning to write is a difficult skill to master. Students can learn to develop proficient skills in composition by learning to apply specific steps in the writing process.

COMPREHENSION

Comprehension is the reason for reading. Students can learn to improve their understanding of what is read by applying a variety of specific tools and strategies to the process.

STUDY SKILLS AND ORGANIZATION

Study skills and organization can be explicitly taught to the students so that they can become independent in the learning process.

MATH (DYSCALCULIA)

A variety of hands on materials and multisensory techniques are used to teach students mastery of basic operations and math facts.

HANDWRITING

Handwriting is used in many school subjects. Learning to master letter strokes will improve legibility and speed during the writing process.

SPELLING

Spelling is an essential literacy skill. Learning to spell words will also help students become better at reading and writing.
