2026 Dyslexia Awareness - News

Dyslexia Awareness 2026

🎉 October is Dyslexia Awareness Month! – At The Written Word, this month is about more than raising awareness; it’s about building understanding, celebrating strengths, and connecting families and educators with helpful resources.

😃 There is a LOT happening this October! Our latest newsletter features dyslexia resources, upcoming events and workshops, teacher training opportunities, and ways you can help us support the Wheaton Public Library and our local community.

📚 We’re especially proud to have raised money and donated many books to help create the library’s Dyslexia Awareness book display, providing valuable resources for children, parents, and teachers.

💗 Read. Learn. Share. – Together, we can raise awareness, increase understanding, and celebrate the strengths of individuals with dyslexia.
