14 Nov Dyslexia & Music: Supporting Students with Dyslexia in the Music Classroom
November 6th, I had the opportunity to present to the West Suburban Music Teachers’ Association, WSMTA, on Dyslexia & Music: Supporting Students with Dyslexia in the Music Classroom.
“Dyslexia & Music: Supporting Students with Dyslexia in the Music Classroom” – Music educators will learn the essential knowledge to support students with dyslexia. They will gain a basic understanding of what dyslexia is and how it can uniquely affect a student’s ability to learn to read music, follow rhythm, and remember musical instructions. This understanding is crucial in supporting students who face dyslexia in the music environment.
Thank you, WSMTA, for taking the time to understand dyslexia better and for your support in helping students excel in the music classroom. Your dedication to students with dyslexia makes a real difference!
