The Written Word offers a $6,600 scholarship for one dedicated teacher in the Diocese of Joliet to become a Certified Dyslexia Therapist!
This comprehensive Dyslexia Therapy Training program emphasizes the implementation of evidence-based practices rooted in the science of reading and the Orton-Gillingham approach. Teachers develop the skills to deliver the Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia, a Tier 3 intervention. It empowers teachers to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals at risk for dyslexia or those identified with dyslexia and related language-based learning differences.
