The Written Word Center for Dyslexia and Learning are proud to announce that BUILD: A K-1 Early Reading Intervention and Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia are recognized as Intervention Curriculum for Educators in the Illinois State Board of Education’s newly published dyslexia toolkit.
TAKE FLIGHT: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia – A new cohort for training will begin in July 2024.
BUILD: A K-1 Early Reading Intervention – Additional virtual training dates for 2024 are coming soon!

Tara J. Chapman and Craig C. Chapman are the co-founders of The Written Word Center for Dyslexia and Learning, which is the only IMSLEC-accredited center in DuPage County, Illinois. Our main objective is to provide specialized remediation for dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We are dedicated to educating and supporting students, parents, and teachers within the local communities.
